Base plate Norev

Due to a bad production batch a lot of base plates got an incorrect mixture for the zamac metal that is used for this. After a while the metal is having unusual fast oxidation, causing it to grow in size. Usually the body is still intact, only the base plate is completely out of shape and has lost all coherence.
only solution left, disassemble the modelcar and replave the base plate with a better.
Marpytoys proposed a substitute plate for this 3D printer in PLA quality.
Initially we had used a green Norev Multispace Berlingo phase 2 for sizing. Soon it proofed that the also effected body, lost all correct sizing, causing a poor fit of the replacement plate proposed.
so back to the drawing board, and now we have a plate that does fit then mainly sand metallic mulispace and the red van version.
all customers having bought the otiginal, have reived a replacement and should be able to complete the job.
in some cases you may need to adjust the interior section a little bit to make it fit together.
Cause for this is: due to the plastic material we need to get some stiffness from an additional use of material.
